Spotlight Saturday {Linkup #3}

Good morning beauties!! It's another gorgeous Saturday which means another awesome Spotlight Saturday Linkup! This has been really fun. It's here! It's here! I am finally back in action, ya'll, woot...

These last couple of months I took time out from blogging and social media. It was hard, guys, not gonna lie. I went an entire 30 days without posting a blog post or updating a Facebook status! What?! It was like a time warp...but felt awesome. I am thinking of writing an ebook about what I went through and what I learned. Would you be interested in that??

During that time, I worked on writing better content because I wanted more heart and passion in this little blog space. And can I confess, there are SO many great posts on the way!

To kick off the new ABJ {Art By Jacy} I'm having an epic linky party this week. All week long {until Friday}, link up your shop or blog so that I can get to know you. Why? Well, why not! Knowing my readers is very important to me and I've realized that I did not take that much time before to do so.

I am the oldest of four. Yup, I'm that big sister who is over-protective yet ridiculously corny. After me, there's Leani {above in the purple with our suave daddy} and then the amazing twins Nikko {who I'm taking a bite of} and Melina {who joined my silliness in the first pic.} I love being a big sis!

My other loves are my handsome husband Jonathan and our little baby boy David. He can be just as silly as his momma! Besides hanging out with family, I love to be creative {who would have guessed!} I run an online art shop and also have written a book about emotional purity, a passion very close to my heart. Jesus is my God and Saviour. I do not hide it. I love sharing my faith because without God, nothing matters.

My goal for ABJ is to share what is on my heart through my writing and artwork, hopefully inspiring and uplifting your heart through the process.

Nom Nom Linky Party/Crockpot Caramel {Recipe}

Mmm how does this look, guys?

This is sweet & tasty caramel, right out of a can! I know, it's a can, in the crockpot...who would have guessed. I made this overnight, while I was sleeping...so by morning, I had this glorious stuff oozing out of the can, ready for me to drizzle it over cupcakes :)

How do you get this overnight caramel, you are wondering?

Well, I found it here {thanks to Pinterest, duh} and knew I HAD to try it!

Take 1 can of sweet condensed milk and place it in the crockpot, with water filled to the top of the can. Cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 4...that's it!!

No, seriously, you're done ha!

Simple, Yummy, and yes...you can eat this right out of the can

{I did and I'm not ashamed. Not even a little.}

10 Things I Wish I Knew 10 Years Ago {Linky Party}

So I forgot how I came up with this idea but I thought I would share with you 10 things that I wish my 18 year old self {yup, I'm almost 30...and I still look 13, whoot} which was exactly 10 years ago...ack, crazy.

I am debating on whether I will make this into a regular series, like "10 things I Wish I Knew Before The Wedding" or "10 Things I Hate About You". Kidding. I only hate 6 things about you. Fine, 8, but that is enough, pinky swear.

The thing is, idk if 10 things are enough!! Seriously, don't you ever wish you can turn back the clock when you were 18, slap yourself out of your boy crazed coma, dress yourself in some better duds and fast forward all the drama? Just me? Okay...

10 Things I Wish I Knew 10 Years Ago

(in no special order)

1. That butterflies in my belly when my crush walked by does not mean he is the one. It means lay off the cheetos before study hall...and get a clue, you're wasting your time.

2. That you are never too old to have a lemonade stand at the end of your driveway. Fact.

3. Your dreams don't rely on anyone else...you gotta set your mind and be unmoveable!

4. Save your purity for your husband. It will save you so much pain and heartbreak. For your husband as well.

5. Be nicer to your younger sister. She will get taller.

6. God still loves you even if you don't.

7. Your drawings are too dark and gloomy. Lighten up, you are alive, stop obsessing over scary stories, ghosts, and dead things. For real.

8. Stay in college. You can make bank.

9. Forgive early, have peace early. Pray harder, live easier.

10. Start cooking, woman. You should know by now how to make more than a tuna sandwich with Doritos and name initial pancakes.
