Hello Awesome...blog!

Oops I did it again.

I changed my blog name!!
Last year I went from Art By Jacy to Jacy Lee Pulford, which is my full name and I thought it would be neat. It was for a while but then it really started to bother me. And my husband, who thought it was weird to have my full name as a url. Agreed.

I've been so nervous about changing it because I've been receiving so much support lately on social media and traffic has been amazing. But like everything I do, I had to be honest and real. November of last year I rebranded my shop from Art By Jacy to Hello Awesome and LOVE the new name/feel. It captures this creative and fun side of me that I want people to know. Customers really do relate to it more.

When the Lord led me to take a break, it was hard to put down the laptop and walk away for a while. Not blogging for an entire month was HARD! But so worth it. I've never been more sure of the path that God wants me on and this new name change is a reflection of that. I want to say "hello" everyday to being "awesome" because we serve an "Awesome" God!

So the previous url www.jacyleepulford.com will now forward to the NEW blog url www.helloawesomeblog.com!! This new name is here to stay for a LONG time, I promise you! It's fresh and inviting, totally better than using my real name which I always thought came off as kinda self-centered. Not that other people can't do it, it just didn't work for me.

**Please, if you have shared any of my posts on your site, change the url link to www.helloawesomeblog.com >> If you've pinned my images, you can edit the url on your boards. I would appreciate it very much and it'll help establish Hello Awesome >> And I'll be changing the url on Bloglovin, so the name "Hello Awesome" will show up in your feed.**

So there you have it. There is a Hello Awesome Shop and now a Hello Awesome Blog. All happy and cool in a cohesive little package. At least that's my hope. Also, my new business email is helloawesome@gmail.com. My other email addresses will expire this month, so please contact me via the new one. Lots of newness going on, I love it!

I don't want this space to be all about me; it's about God, family, life and art! It's about inspiring the heart and showing people awesome things. That's what I want this space to be about. Saying hello to awesomeness. Will you embrace it with me?

Change is Awesome.

Whoa. Two posts in one day. That's a change!

I know I've strung you loyal readers along on a string of changes these last couple of years. Heck, just the past six months! Looking back, I was confused. I didn't fit into a certain "niche." It's true. I was torn between being a Christian and being a business owner. In between being a writer and being an artist.

God has been really showing me lately that I shouldn't lean on my own understanding. I know we memorize and say that scripture but it became real. Every decision made should bring Him glory and I should be thankful. Assumptions causes foolish leaps. Zeal makes you do crazy things. Often to act irrational and without planning. I admit, I don't plan as well as I should. I get excited about an idea and boom! There I go doing it.

I finally found my niche and it was inside of me this entire time. My niche is to inspire! Through everything I do, these talents I've been blessed with, this little blog space...whether it's with a recipe, devotion, home project...it's all meant to inspire you. To spark positivity within you. And show how awesome He is.

So, my friends, this blog is no longer "Art By Jacy". It has officially been changed to "Jacy Lee Pulford". Not super fancy but I want this space to encompass all of my passions. The old blog url (www.artbyjacy.com) is no more. The new one is http://www.jacyleepulford.com! Not just art. Not just writing. But ALL of it! I'm not going to put limits on myself, assuming that's what God's wants. I know now, that is not true.

He is limitless. I hope you can forgive me for the yoyo effect over the last year or so. I also hope that you will join me in this new adventure. I'll be adding fashion illustrations back into my shop and will be working on some freebie graphics for you to download to spruce up your blog. No more holding back. No more hiding my talents. No more hiding a light under a bushel. I'm ready to set the world on fire (figuratively speaking.)

Are you ready for this change?

I want some honest feedback!

Happy Day {Coupon Code & Announcement!}

Happy Valentine's Day, ABJ Lovers!

I've been missing you guys something fierce...sooooo, my gift to you is that I'm coming back & it will be better than ever! The ABJ Blog is getting a makeover, same name, just more awesome {is that possible?!}

This past month of no social media and no blogging really gave me an amazing perspective. I've been in constant prayer about this little space and I have to say, I didn't think the Lord cared that I loved blogging or wanted to even have me come back. However, it is amazing what can happen when we just put our ENTIRE plan in His hands and trust in His ways...He takes what we desire and makes something beautiful!

So, I've gotten the green light to start a new, fresh blog...whoa, I am SO excited :) The posts will be thought-provoking, full of heart and inspiration. After all, art isn't just paper and paint...it is passion. That will be the new angle of Art By Jacy...passionate art and writing for your heart. What do you think? Are you excited for me to come back, full force? I know I've taken you guys through rollercoaster rides over these couple of years, being so on and off, taking breaks etc...but can I tell you something? It all has been leading up to THIS moment!!

An official launch date will be revealed soon, but for now, enjoy this coupon code for 14% off of your ABJ order today. Use "LOVE14" http://artbyjacy.storenvy.com/

You will notice design changes and such, so if you have any suggestions or feedback, leave me a comment or shoot me an email at my new email address, jacy@artbyjacy.com
