*PHEW*
Definitely happy it is done...
I love vintage but this wallpaper in the upstairs hallway in our condo had to go!
It took me a while to figure out what to do. I mean, come on, I AM an artist and this IS a perfect blank canvas. I was going to just paint it a solid and put that cute, black sunburst mirror on it {above pic} but that seemed so boring...and practical...definitely not my style...
Then I saw this nursery mural on Pinterest!
So like a good lil' blogger, I followed the appropriate link ;)
I loved the idea but I quickly knew I was not going to use vinyls or initials.
Nope. My creative mind started flowing...and this is what happened!
Not bad, eh?
What fun projects around the home have YOU been up to?
Come back next week, there may {or may not} be a creative linky party ;)
this looks PERFECT! love it!!!

ReplyDeletePamela, I am so happy how it turned out :)
Wow, what a cool idea! Love the stripes, the colors, the whole thing! I'd be thrilled if you'd share it here:

I love this idea. I have a wall that would look so great with something similar. Great job.
ReplyDeleteVikki, I'd love to see your wall if you re-do it! Thanks :)
DeleteThis is great, Tracy! And, in all fairness, I like the white and yellow background better. Having it created next to a bedroom door is also a great idea. I think, if you colored your door with dark green or with brown for the trunk of the tree, it is going to be more emphasized and would give the whole family tree mural a very interesting look.
