Senior Prom 2002
So I forgot
how I came up with this idea but I thought I would share with you 10 things
that I wish my 18 year old self {yup, I'm almost 30...and I still look 13,
whoot} which was exactly 10 years ago...ack, crazy.
I am
debating on whether I will make this into a regular series, like "10
things I Wish I Knew Before The Wedding" or "10 Things I Hate About
You". Kidding. I only hate 6 things about you. Fine, 8, but that is
enough, pinky swear.
The thing
is, idk if 10 things are enough!! Seriously, don't you ever wish you can turn
back the clock when you were 18, slap yourself out of your boy crazed coma,
dress yourself in some better duds and fast forward all the drama? Just me?
Okay...
Feel free
to copy and paste this on your blog, with your own "things" and come
back here, linking up in the comments. Actually, yeah, let's do that! Write a
post of 10 things you wish you knew 10 years ago, and come back to share...'cuz
I'd realllyyyy love to read about how you wish you knew all the moves to
Thriller {totally know them fyi}.
Blah enough
babbling...here is my list, yo...
10 Things I
Wish I Knew 10 Years Ago
(in no
special order)
1. That
butterflies in my belly when my crush walked by does not mean he is the one. It
means lay off the cheetos before study hall...and get a clue, you're wasting
your time.
2. That you
are never too old to have a lemonade stand at the end of your driveway. Fact.
3. Your
dreams don't rely on anyone else...you gotta set your mind and be unmoveable!
4. Save
your purity for your husband. It will save you so much pain and heartbreak. For
your husband as well.
5. Be nicer
to your younger sister. She will get taller.
6. God
still loves you even if you don't.
7. Your
drawings are too dark and gloomy. Lighten up, you are alive, stop obsessing
over scary stories, ghosts, and dead things. For real.
8. Stay in
college. You can make bank.
9. Forgive
early, have peace early. Pray harder, live easier.
10. Start
cooking, woman. You should know by now how to make more than a tuna sandwich
with Doritos and name initial pancakes.
Now go
write your 10 things and come back to link up!!!
Great post! I did a Tuesday10 linkup with this theme last week... or was it the week before!?
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome to look back, and 10 years isn't even THAT long ago, but it sure feels like it! ♥

ReplyDeleteHahaha lay off the cheetos! That made me laugh out loud! Totally agree about the lemonade stand and God. And cooking, but I still haven't learned to do that yet (I can bake, does that count???) :)

ReplyDeleteNiki hahaha I thank God for Pinterest it has made me better! Baking totally counts lol
You are so funny! I just saw this post come up in the "you might also like" widget in your newest post. What a brilliant idea. I love this.
