Happy Monday beauties! I have a confession, ya'll. The busier I get, the more I neglect this place. Sad but true. And I really do love blogging so the question I had to ask myself is "do I love it enough to make a schedule?" Honestly, I tried in the past and then stopped because it felt too creatively stifling. If that makes sense.
But lately I'm noticing a pattern with my posts and I want to combine that with my current passions. Just like anything else, blogs evolve as our life evolves. Though there are still parts of me that haven't changed, I feel this space needs to be more streamlined. I want to welcome all you new followers and hope this new blog schedule will bring inspiring content and help you connect with my heart more.
MAKE IT MONDAYS:
Whether you want to "make it" in business or blogging or DIY projects/recipes, Mondays will be reserved for anything geared to help you be creative. Blogging tips, small handmade business advice, step-by-step tutorials...it's Make It Monday yo.
STUDIO WEDNESDAYS:
This is where I'll update you on the new goodies available weekly in the Hello Awesome Shop. I'll also be sharing behind-the-scene photos for projects I'm working on and sneak peeks of future awesomeness. Any shop deals or current coupon codes going on will also be shared this day.
FABRIC FUN FRIDAYS:
It's backkkk!! As an artist and designer, most of my inspiration comes from beautiful fabrics and things made from fabric. I always dream some day I'll be an incredible sewer but alas that is not the case. I kinda failed that class in fashion school. Fridays I'll showcase my love for all things fabric-related. Amazing handmade items, home decor ideas and swatches all with links so you can get the resource and your heart can swoon too. These were always my most popular posts a few years back. Here's an example of a FFF.
About once a month I will do a Dear David... post because of course being a mama is part of who I am. Along with this series and any other things I want to share, those will be on either a Tues or Thur.
For the most part, expect 3 posts a week. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to blog every day. I might tweak this schedule but for now I'm excited for what's to come! I hope this will help you understand what Hello Awesome is about and now you'll get an idea of what to expect on which days.
I want to share inspiration in hopes it fuels your creativity and uplifts your day a little bit. Be sure to follow my very fun and active Instagram where I post far more "raw" artist-at-work glimpses and life moments.
Does your blog have a schedule? Have you thought of doing one? What do you think of them? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments! xoxo
Love the schedule line up! The only thing I have set in stone schedule wise right now is my Thankful Thursday posts.
ReplyDeleteHey, that is awesome! I'm going to do my best to stick with this because I love it as well :) Thanks Ashley <3
DeleteI don't have a blog schedule, I just post when I feel like it, lol! But I would LOVE to do a post for you on Fabric Friday about anything sewing related, like good tips for beginners and stuff if you are interested :) I'd even be willing to swap posts with you if you want :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes!!! I can already come up with a few topics right off the top of my head haha That would be amazing. I'll definitely email you soon, thanks Michelle! :)
