Last night, I was on Pinterest (as usual) looking at things for little boys.
I haven't really thought about it much...you know, that I'm about to have a son. I know it's a big deal but maybe because he's still snuggled tight inside of my belly, it hasn't seemed real yet.
As I was pinning joyfully and giggling to myself about cute, bright bow ties, I suddenly stopped as I read this caption above this pic "25 Rules for Mothers of Sons." I knew I just had to read it!
Can I just say that it's very rare that I'm impressed?
Not that I'm a snob or anything (if I was, would I really admit that?!)
but when I read, I need to be engaged in the first couple of lines, or the writer has lost me...
This article is amazing!!!
From the content to the wording, Tabitha nails every point right on point. Her fluid writing skills are just awesome and the entire thing is just plain brilliant.
I recommend every woman who is a mother of a son (or will be, like me) to read Tabitha's article on her blog. Click on the picture to be forwarded or click right here.
Once you do, please come back and let me know your thoughts!
I'd love for us mothers with little boys to share our insights and emotions about it.
Ah! A baby boy! How wonderful to be looking forward to your time together.
ReplyDeleteWell, my little boy turns 29 this year and we are very proud of our young man. I agree with all 25 rules and I wish we could do it again.
Sandy, I am so excited to have a son and start bonding with him :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you for having a 29 year old! I'm only 29 weeks pregnant haha still a long way to go...
