If you are in any way, shape or form apart of Etsy, then you know all about how the doily has been reinvented! I cannot believe some of the items that people, creative minds, geniouses have put together using doilies. Whether it's fabric, or paper, artwork or clothing, doilies have made a new name for themselves entirely!
Doilies are not just for in the kitchen or dining room anymore, hiding under hot platter and bowls of fruit. No my friends, they are coming out like recess! I have to admit, I am getting a bit obsessed over them myself. I love just the plain white crocheted ones or the intricate paper ones. I even have purchased some to do some test painting on!

Thanks for such a great idea, I have tons of fabric and am going to suggest it to my daughter as well. We are both artists but did we think of it? Of course not!!
